Green Technology

Green Technology
Each year energy used in the United States increases, driving the need for more fossil fuel and increasing the harmful effects to the environment.

As pollution and the rising cost of energy sources become worldwide issues, people are being urged to be more aware of how they consume energy.

World leader are pushing for cheaper energy saving technologies. They also are calling for technology in the form of energy sources that will outlast the fossil fuels upon which most people are dependent.

In addition to being cost efficient, this technology, called green technology, must be environmentally friendly. That is, these new energy sources must not add to pollution.

Many organizations and scientists are working to call attention to the need for green technology. As people become more aware of the necessity of efficient energy sources, they are demanding alternatives to current sources.

Renewable energy is one of the most important aspects of green technology. Solar power; biomass energy, and wind power are some do the “earth friendly” alternatives that are being explored as ways to cut back on the use of fossil fuels.

In addition, this energy sources will not add to pollution and its effects especially global warming. Green Technology
